Programmes
Hila’s programme combines Torah learning, structured self-growth, physical wellbeing, and accredited academic studies within a personalised learning model.

Limudei Kodesh
Kodesh learning takes place daily at the optimal time of day for focused Torah study.

Learning combines individual study, chavrusa learning, and group discussion, with each student following a personalised pathway and clear learning goals designed to support her growth and challenge her appropriately. Students are guided to develop textual skills, independent thinking, and intellectual responsibility in their Torah learning.

Self Growth and Leadership Education
Personal growth is a central part of the Hila programme. Students are guided in developing the inner skills that allow them to learn well, relate respectfully to others, and take responsibility for themselves.

Drawing on the principles of Leadership Education, students are supported through the natural phases of learning that shape character, curiosity, and intellectual discipline over time.

These phases include:
Core Phase — building character, values, and strong personal foundations
Love of Learning Phase — nurturing curiosity and a genuine love of learning
Scholar Phase — developing focus, discipline, and deeper academic study
Depth Phase — pursuing areas of personal interest and deeper exploration
Mission Phase — applying learning toward meaningful contribution and purpose

What Students Learn
Through guided discussions, experiential activities, and reflection, students develop essential life skills including:
-
Self-governance — taking responsibility for one’s choices and actions
-
Emotional awareness and regulation — recognising and managing emotions in healthy ways
-
Communication and conflict resolution skills — navigating disagreements with maturity and respect

These skills are developed within a structured environment that encourages increasing independence, thoughtful decision-making, and personal responsibility.

Movement
Daily body movement supports focus, discipline, and wellbeing. Physical activity is an intentional part of the learning environment.
Experiential Learning
At Hila, learning also takes place beyond the classroom. Nature walks, community chesed opportunities, and enriching outings allow students to connect with the natural world, contribute meaningfully to their community, and expand their perspective through real-life experiences.
General Studies
Students complete recognised correspondence programmes within a structured, supervised environment. Academic progress is regularly reviewed to ensure students remain on track and meet matriculation requirements.
Students are mentored in:
Time management
Academic planning
Goal tracking
Work ethic
This model supports personalised pacing while maintaining high academic standards.
